Car Seat Safety

I have always thought I was a great mom for having my kids in their car seats. I am one of those people who gets VERY upset when I drive next to someone whose kids are not properly belted. (I have even been known to call the police) Buckling a seat belt is such an easy thing to do to save a life, why would you be casual about it? (I also think it is silly that adults won't do it, but that is their own life)

Watching this video has made me realize that buckling isn't always enough. Please check out this blog and comment on it. The blog owner is donating money to help The Kyle David Miller Foundation provide 5 point harnesses for children up to 80 lbs.

I visited this site just a little while ago. What a sad story, but Kyle's story will help to save lives! I, too, am a stickler when it comes to seatbelts, but I really had no idea! I'm glad I found that site and will look into the 5-point harnass system for my children!

I am so glad to see so many people becoming aware of this. My husband and I are carseat freaks. If the seat isn't in tight, we will keep trying to fix it. Now I have the perfect excuse.
