Smart Habit Saturday 5/19/07

WOW! Is this week over? NO WAY! I don't even remember it going by!!

As far as my habits...I did good on my established ones. I COMPLETELY FORGOT to walk! I mean COMPLETELY FORGOT. It NEVER crossed my mind! ACK!! Okay, going to work on that one again.

Here is a recap of my goals:
wk 1: praying and bible reading yes
wk 2: referring to planner everyday yes
wk 3: get off computer at 9am and off for rest of day some days I did good on this, others not so much
wk 4: new laundry schedule and laundry put away every day mostly
wk 5: stopped caffeine --habit
wk 6: added fruit to breakfast --habit
wk 7: added veggie to lunch --habit
wk 8: portion sizes --habit
wk 9: writing down what I eat every day --didn't do at all, not even sure I want to
wk 10: walking every day FORGOT
wk 11: re-working on everything
wk 12: getting Kaedy bug fed on time mostly!
wk 12: making a schedule and sticking to it didn't even work on it!
wk 13: no TV during day for kids a little better this week

I can do this! In fact, I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.(Phil 4:13)

I'm amazed at the things I can completely forget. Get out there and take a walk. :)

The walking, oh the walking...good one to add to my future habits list. I can't believe I used to squeeze in 7 miles before the kids were up. Now I'm just getting to bed.

Best wishes for Kaedra's surgery this week.

It's so amazing how you can focus on so many things that by the end of the week you realize you forgot to do something(s). ;)

Too funny that you forgot to walk, but I can so relate:) Congratulations on the rest of your goals.
Have a great weekend,

I told my girls to remind me to "Take a hike" if it's 4 pm and I haven't gone for my walk yet. They got a kick out of it!

Now that we all have 10 or more habits we are working on, it is easy to forget what some of them are :) !! However, I think we are all doing amazing. The progress we have each made is astounding!

Happy walking!

P.S. Kaedra and your family are still in my prayers. I hope Monday goes well ... it is Monday, right?

Something that has helped me this week as far as my walking, is walking in place. I do it whenever I catch myself standing still!

Wow, you have so many wonderful habits! How did you do it???

My exercise has been seriously lacking this last month. I just don't seem to want to take time away from the family to go to the gym!

Hi there. Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting. I know you'll enjoy The Jesus Storybook Bible! I'm actually in your neck of the woods this week (Tulsa area instead of my Nashville home area). Drove by Broken Arrow just today on my way back from visiting a friend in Ft. Gibson. Thought about getting off at Elm and going to visit my grandparent's old home ... but two overtaxed preschoolers convinced me to save it for another day. :-)

Praying for Kaedra's surgery on Monday.

Exercise?! I used to know the meaning of that word. Hopefully I'll regain personal knowledge of it this summer. Good job on being organized enough to try!!

When I was a kid my family would take walks after dinner during warm summer nights. I don't think I noticed much difference as a kid but looking back we were less likely to become couch potatoes after eating. You have a lot of great habits. Wishing you the best this week.
