Blogging Without Obligation

I have a new icon on my sidebar. It says "Blogging without Obligation." That's my new motto....

I am back.....but without obligation.

I don't know how often I will post.
I can't promise to have witty posts.
I don't have time to read all the blogs I used to.
I don't promise to always comment if I do read your blog.
I don't promise to make this blog relevant to daily news or important in any global sense.
I will not always make you either laugh or cry.
I am not out for readership.
I am not looking at my stats.
I am not going to try to have the best blog out there.

This is a new thing for me. I am always an over-achiever. If I do something, I want to do it right. I want to do it in a big way. But this is not the season in my life for blogging in a big way.

Disclaimer: This notice is not really for my "real-life" friends. They already know all of this. I am just putting it here to remind myself and just in case someone out there besides them still reads my blog. :-)

Harvest Festival

Somehow I managed not to get ONE picture of Brittany!!!! She was an OU Fan. You will have to imagine it yourself until Wednesday when she may dress up that way again and I will get a picture. :-)

These pictures are from our Harvest Festival at Church

Baby David Isaac

Baby David went to be with God early this afternoon.

I do not know any other details yet.

Please keep Tamara, Shawn and the kids in your prayers. Tamara is going to need physical as well as mental and spiritual strength to get through this.

Prayers for David Isaac

I have a friend named Tamara that had her baby last evening. He is very early and very small and has a few problems in the natural. Here are the two emails I have gotten about him:

"David was taken by c-section about 6:35 this evening. He is breathing on his own and mommy is doing okay. He's 3 lbs 5 oz. As soon as we get word on his condition I'll pass it on. He was whisked away to the NICU."

and this morning:
"Baby David is not doing well and the doctors are not giving us much hope. But God is bigger that than. Please pray in faith, in the name of Jesus, right now for baby David.

David does not have a spleen so he is at high risk for infection. They had to put in a chest tube and he's on 100% oxygen. His blood pressure is extremely low, despite several medications. As of now, he still has not urinated, which indicates a problem with the functioning of the kidney. They still have not done an ultrasound.

Please pray for this little body to be made whole by the power of God and in the name of Jesus. He is responding well to mom and dad. Tamara is reading to him in the NICU and he opens his eyes to the sound of Sean's voice. He's a fighter. Help in this fight with your prayers. Thank you."

I just want to say that I believe David IS healed. Jesus healed him on the cross 2000 years ago! HALLELUJAH!!!

Here is what we said over Kaedra (changed for David, of couse):
"David is the Body of Christ. He is redeemed from the curse, because Jesus bore his sicknesses and carried his diseases in His own body. By Jesus' stripes he is healed. We forbid any sickness or disease to operate in his body. Every organ, every tissue, every bone functions and is formed in the perfection in which God created it to function."
(Gal 3:13, Matt 8:17, 1 Peter 2:24, 1 Cor 6:20) found in Prayers that Avail Much by Germaine Copeland

We stood on Luke 8:50
"Fear not: believe only, and {he} shall be made whole."

Please join us in believing that David is whole and healed! Please also pray for strength for his Tamara and Shawn and their other children.

HALLELUJAH!
