Kaedra is doing well medically. The doctor is happy with how she is doing. She feels awful, though, and it is hard to see her this way. She doesn’t move, doesn’t smile, doesn’t open her eyes and doesn’t talk. She will move her lips and nod or shake her head. The nurses told us that once she begins to fell better, it will go really fast. We are hoping that happens soon.
They gave her a picc line again, to be able to give her IV antibiotics even after she comes home.
She IS back on the ventilator and she isn’t able to tolerate full feedings yet. Those are two of our prayer requests. And, of course, we need her to feel better soon! We would love for her to be able to come home in the next few days.
