There's a sad sort of clanging from the clock in the hall
And the bells in the steeple too.
And up in the nursery an absurd little bird
Is popping out to say cook-coo cook-coo, cook-coo
Regretfully they tell us cook-coo
But firmly they compel us cook-coo
To say goodbye cook-coo...
To you...
So long farewell, auf weidersehen good-bye
I hate to go and leave this pretty sight
So long farewell, auf weidersehen adieu
Adieu, adieu, to you and you and you
So long farewell, au revior auf weidersehen
I'd like to stay and taste my first champagne
Yes?
No
So long farewell, auf weidersehen goodnight
I leave and heave a sigh and say good bye - goodbyyyyyyeeeee!
I'm glad... to go.... I cannot tell a lie
I fleet, I float, I fleetly flee I fly...
The sun... has gone... to bed and so must I...
So long...farewell...auf weidersehen goodbye...
Goodbye...
Goodbye....
Goodbye....
Goodbye...
And the bells in the steeple too.
And up in the nursery an absurd little bird
Is popping out to say cook-coo cook-coo, cook-coo
Regretfully they tell us cook-coo
But firmly they compel us cook-coo
To say goodbye cook-coo...

I am leaving the blogging world for the time being. I am not even sure I am coming back. Although I would like to take down my blog, to get rid of any temptation or guilt, I feel like I need to leave it up to let people see Kaedra's story and to give them hope. Therefore, the page will still be here, just don't expect any updates. If I happen to have a moment or two, I will update it, but I am not setting aside any time for blogging at all. I am also not reading blogs.
There is more to this story that I planned to write, but it is late and I need to go to sleep. The main thing is....priorities. I can spend an hour (or more) on the computer, or I can spend that same hour with my children or being a helpmeet to my husband. I think it is a no-brainer. This is just not my season in life for a blog.
If you'd like to stay in touch, please email me using the link on the left.
Many Blessings,
Kahri

I completely completely understand. I go back and forth between the idea of totally quiting too. The only thing that I keep hanging onto is that I love to journal and this gives me a place to do it. Plus it's just so fun.
I'm reading a really good book right now that has me convicted to the core every time I've picked it up called A Mothers Heart by Jean Fleming. It has me also looking at my priorites (again). It has reminded me of the influence I have on my children and how I need to use that while they are still yet young. Who knows the impact I will have if I put my whole self into my parenting. Oh Lord, let me found faithful in this. We only have one life and one chance to do it right.
So, in short, I completely understand. Do keep in touch though if you think of something to say, send me an email. You'll be missed. Love those babies and take care of your guy.
God bless you,
Mercy
This is a struggle I have in my head often too. I'm sorry you are going because you are among my favorites on my bloglines list.
I still keep thinking that at some point I'm bound to run into you in the grocery store, though. :)
So sorry to hear this, Kahri, but we each must following the leading of Gods Holy Spirit and not anything or anyone else.
I'm glad you're leaving the site up and hopefully "things" might change where you can pop in once in a while.
Love you and yours,
Susan
Love you friend!!
TOTALLY understand and will try to give you a call later today. :-)
I am glad you are leaving Kaedy's story up!!!
I am also very sorry to hear you won't be blogging anymore. :( I have enjoyed reading your blog and having you read mine.
But I understand your reasons why and know you won't regret it!!
Hopefully I'll catch you on IM sometimes at least so we can keep in touch. I'm still struggling on the HS group issue. But if I decide to then hopefully I'll see you around there this Fall. :)
I really hate to see you go. I check your blog every day or every other day most of the time. However, having said that, like everyone else, I really do understand. I hope you can come back and give us all an update once in a while but we must do what HE instructs us to do. :-)

I'm sorry to see you go too! I do however understand :) I was sad to see Brandi's go down too. I check both of your blogs daily, whenever I sign in at home. I too hope that we get updates once in awhile but understand if you can't. God Bless :)
Good for you, following your convictions. I have really enjoyed getting to know you through your posts and comments.
I really admire your faith and positive energy. Your family is blessed to have you in their lives.
I have enjoyed getting to know you, and I will miss your posts, but I completely understand. I have time for blogging in the summer, but once school starts, it's a different story. Blessings to you and your family.
i echo what others have written... sorry to see you go but totally understand.
i hope life gets easier for you, kaedra, and the rest of your family. when kaedra is brought to mind, i will lift her up in prayer.
God bless you all.
We will certainly miss you in the blogging world, but priorities are priorities. You and your family will remain in my prayers.
