Laminin

Just stumbled across the unfamiliar word "Laminin" while on my homepage: Christian Post. I had no idea what it was, so I looked it up on Wikipedia (which went right over my head) and then did a search on it. I found lots of interesting information. Here is my favorite explanation

Kaedra - BIG NEWS

We saw the doctor today and he said we can start working on decannulating her. What that means is, we are starting to get her used to not having her trach. We blocked her trach for ½ an hour today and she did great. We get to keep increasing it until she can go without any trach at all and then she gets to get it out!!!

Surgery Complete

Kaedra just got out of surgery and it went well! thanks for the prayers. She is in recovery now and I will know more later, when she is in her room.

Kaedra expansion

Kaedra and Michael have headed off to Kansas City this afternoon. Kaedra is having an expansion surgery tomorrow morning. Please keep their travel and the operation in your prayers! We are praying that she is able to leave early Tuesday morning and come home!

What's in a name?

We are looking into name meanings this morning for school. I looked up my kids' first and middle names and came up with their meanings:

Brittany: Strong with Great Brightness

Emily: Hardworking Gift of God

Kaedra: Pure Celebration of God

Ethan: Steadfastly Resembles God

I love them!
